Nokia X6 Polar White 6GB +64GB Storage Variant Now Available for Sale After Pre-Orders in China

After being sold out in its first flash sale last week, the Polar White color variant of the mid-range Nokia X6 is now on sale in China. The Polar White variant of the smartphone is available in only one configuration currently with 6 GB or RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Nokia X6: Polar White 6GB RAM + 64GB Storage Variant Now on Sale in China

After being available for pre-order in China, the Polar White variant of the Nokia X6 with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage is now on sale in the country via major retailers such as JD.com, Suning, Tmall, and Nokia’s own online store. The Polar White variant is priced at 1,699 yuan in China, which translates to Rs.17,549. According to local news agencies in China, the Polar White Nokia X6 variant had received over 730,000 registrations during the pre-order period. Quite clearly, the mid-range Nokia handset is very popular in China.

Nokia X6: Specifications, Features


The Nokia X6 is HMD Global’s first smartphone to feature a notched display. Measuring 5.8-inches diagonally, the notched display on the X6 offers 1080 x 2280 Full HD+ resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. Protecting the display is a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. If you don’t like the notch at the top of the display, the Nokia X6 does give you the option to hide the notch in the Settings Menu. Under the hood, Nokia X6 is powered by a 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz with an Adreno 509 GPU handling the graphics processing. In terms of memory, the Nokia X6 comes in three configurations – 4GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage. The Nokia X6 features a Hybrid Dual-SIM slot configuration, so further expansion will mean using just a single SIM card.
On the back of the mid-range Nokia smartphone is a dual-camera setup with a 16MP primary sensor and a 5MP monochrome secondary sensor. The 16MP sensor features a 1.0um pixel size and is coupled with an f/2.0 aperture, while the secondary 5MP sensor has a larger 1.2um pixel size and is paired with an f/2.2 aperture. Like most other mid-range Android smartphones launched recently, the Nokia X6 comes with AI scene recognition and AI portrait mode features as well. For selfies, the Nokia X6 has been equipped with a 16MP sensor on the front featuring 1.0um pixel size and an f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity-wise, the Nokia mid-ranger supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C, FM radio, and 4G VOLTE. The smartphone comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the back. For easy access, users can also choose to utilize the Face Unlock feature. Keeping the lights on is a 3060mAh capacity battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. The Nokia X6 measures 147.2 x 70.98 x 8.59mm and weighs in at 151 grams. In terms of software, the handset runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system currently and is guaranteed to receive the Android P update.

Nokia X6: Expected Price in India, Launch Date

While the Nokia X6 has been available only in China so far, HMD Global is expected to debut the global variant of the smartphone at an event in Hong Kong on the 19th of this month. It is currently being speculated that the global variant of the Nokia X6 will be marketed as the Nokia 6.1 Plus.
If HMD Global decides to bring the Nokia 6.1 Plus to India, we expect it to be priced at somewhere around the Rs.20,000 mark as it is going to be positioned between the Nokia 6.1( 4 GB ) and Nokia 7 Plus.

Vivo NEX S Indian price revealed ahead of launch

The Vivo NEX S is launching in India on July 19. The company had sent out invites to the press for the launch event set to happen on that day. Now,   MySmartPrice   has discovered the pricing details for the phone on Amazon's website. The phone will be priced at INR 48,990 ($716). There will likely be two variants, 128GB and 256GB and the aforementioned price is for the lowest variant. There will be also be some launch day offers. The price is significantly lower than the Oppo Find X that was announced in India today. The two phones are similarly equipped, although the Find X has a much more elaborate motorized slider system that includes both the front and rear cameras.
